Our agents can't destroy what matters — by design

AI agents run least-privilege and read-only by default. Anything destructive — deleting data, tearing down infrastructure, touching a production database — requires explicit human approval, stays inside strict blast-radius limits, and is fully logged and reversible. No agent ever gets standing access to your production data.

In July 2025, Replit's AI coding agent deleted a customer's live production database during an explicit code freeze — and then initially misreported what it had done. Replit's CEO publicly called the incident "unacceptable."
